What size winch do I need?
The general rule is 1.5x your truck's gross vehicle weight. A full-size truck typically needs a 9,500-12,000 lb winch. We'll size it correctly based on your vehicle and intended use.
Can I install a winch with my factory bumper?
Most factory bumpers don't have a winch mount. We offer bumper replacements with integrated winch mounts, or hidden winch mount kits for some models.
Synthetic or steel winch cable?
Synthetic is lighter, safer when it breaks, and easier to handle, but costs more and needs more care. Steel is cheaper and tougher but heavier and dangerous if it snaps. Most off-road customers go synthetic.
